The K3 Ultra 8K is the slim 75% with 8000 Hz polling, ZMK firmware, wood sides and a 550-hour battery rating. Tom's Hardware called it the best low-profile mech on the market despite a couple of flaws.
The standout slim 75%, according to Tom's Hardware. The firmware switch is the main catch.
The K3 Ultra 8K is Keychron's flagship slim 75%. Its page lists 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth plus wired with 8000 Hz polling, hot-swappable Keychron Milk POM switches (Red, Brown or Banana), an aluminum and wood body with an anodized aluminum plate, LSA double-shot PBT keycaps, ZMK firmware with the Launcher, a 2600 mAh battery rated up to 550 hours and 566 g.
Tom's Hardware reviewed the K3 Ultra (shown with Banana tactile switches) and called it the best low-profile mechanical keyboard on the market despite a couple of flaws. It praised the switches, damping, two-level feet, PBT keycaps, 8 kHz polling and battery life, and noted it uses a traditional tray mount with multiple foam layers. Its complaints were online-only software, rosewood that is not the nicest, and keycaps that are just fine.
It differs from the K3 Max SE in firmware (ZMK vs QMK), polling (8 kHz vs 1 kHz) and battery rating.
