K3 Max, from Keychron's store

The K3 Max adds a 2.4 GHz dongle to the ultra-slim 75% with QMK/VIA, PBT keycaps and foam. SemiPro found the wireless stable but the stabilizers rattly. Also covers the K3, K3 Pro and K3 Max SE.

75% layout Tri-mode Hot-swap QMK/VIA Low profile

Our take, based on research

The thin travel board with a dongle. Stabilizers are a known weakness.

Overview

The K3 Max is the 2.4 GHz version of the slim 75%. The page lists 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth for up to three devices plus wired at 1000 Hz, hot-swappable low-profile Gateron or Keychron switches, an ABS-with-aluminum-frame case, low-profile double-shot PBT keycaps, 22 RGB effects, a 1550 mAh battery rated up to 73 hours and about 525 g.

SemiPro called the 2.4 GHz implementation stable with no latency or missed key presses in its use, said the added foam made the sound a touch better than the K3 Pro, but heard considerable stabilizer rattle on the space bar, and noted shorter battery life. Gadgetoid found it the same compact, solid slim board as the Pro and plans to use it for travel; Trusted Reviews called it a great travel board but hard to recommend outside a tight niche.

Versions: this page also covers the K3, K3 Pro and K3 Max SE, which share the slim 75% layout. Per Keychron's pages, the K3 (Version 2) is Bluetooth and wired only, with ABS keycaps, no QMK/VIA and a battery rated up to 34 hours. The K3 Pro adds QMK/VIA and double-shot PBT keycaps but has no 2.4 GHz dongle. The K3 Max SE keeps the Max's 2.4 GHz and QMK, and adds an ABS and wood case, an aluminum plate, Milk POM switches and a battery rated up to 120 hours, in a wider 318.62 x 126 mm body. Keychron's K3 Max page points to the K3 HE and K3 Ultra 8K as the newer versions; both have their own pages.
