K3 HE, from Keychron's store
A low-profile Hall-effect 75% with Lime magnetic switches, 2.4 GHz, rosewood sides and about 575 g. HLPlanet and GameRevolution liked it; the main limits are switch lock-in and 1000 Hz polling.
A distinctive low-profile Hall-effect board with strong reviews.
The K3 HE is a rare slim Hall-effect board. Keychron lists a 75% layout, 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth plus wired at 1000 Hz, hot-swappable Ultra-Fast Lime low-profile magnetic switches with actuation from 0.2 to 2.9 mm, an aluminum and wood tray-mount case, LSA double-shot PBT keycaps that are not shine-through, a 2600 mAh battery rated up to 55 hours and about 575 g.
HLPlanet praised its value, ergonomics and typing feel, said the plastic shell is dressed up with aluminum rails and real rosewood panels, called the LSA PBT keycaps a highlight, and noted the two main drawbacks: it locks you into Keychron's proprietary low-profile Hall-effect switches and polling is capped at 1000 Hz. GameRevolution said the slim form factor is both its strength and weakness: if you do not need a low profile, a full-height keyboard makes more sense, but for portable gaming it is a rare option; it also praised the acoustic dampening.
Keychron's page lists an aluminum and wood case, but HLPlanet describes an ABS shell with aluminum rails and rosewood panels, so check before assuming an all-metal body. Compared with the K3 Max SE, it adds analog features but gives up switch choice.
