Filco's plain Cherry MX full-size with PBT keycaps and NKRO over USB

A wired full-size board with Cherry MX switches, double-shot PBT keycaps, full N-key rollover over USB and media keys on the function row. Eurogamer found it solid and an excellent typist's board, with no hot-swap, no RGB and a hard-to-justify cost.

Full size Cherry MX Doubleshot PBT NKRO over USB Media keys on the F-row

Our take, based on research

A dependable typist's full-size that Eurogamer liked to use but found hard to justify on value. Pick it for the build and PBT keycaps; look elsewhere for hot-swap, wireless or lighting.

Overview

Diatec's launch release for the Majestouch 3 lists the full-size at 440 x 138 x 38.5 mm (49.5 mm with the stand) and 1.2 kg, with a choice of Cherry MX Brown, Blue, Red or Silent Red switches, wired USB, and double-shot PBT keycaps. The tenkeyless version is a separate model. Eurogamer's Digital Foundry review adds that the full-size arrived as a long-awaited successor to the Majestouch 2, with PBT keycaps, full N-key rollover over USB and media controls on the function row. It weighed the unit at 1.4 kg, above Diatec's 1.2 kg figure.

Eurogamer found the keyboard solid, with factory-lubed Costar stabilizers that work well apart from some ping on the space bar if pushed harder. It chose Cherry MX Browns and liked their blend of tactile bump and light keypress, though they felt a little scratchy before breaking in. It noted there is no hot-swap, no case foam, no RGB, no software and no macro keys, and called the Majestouch 3 a typist's keyboard that was a hard sell next to cheaper Ducky and Keychron options and Filco's own Majestouch 2, which offers most of the features with ABS keycaps.
