The cheaper X60
The X60 HE is the plainer, cheaper X60: a 64-key aluminum 60% at 840 g with 8 kHz polling and no glass light bar. Reviewers praised the build and the value.
An aluminum 8 kHz 60% for less than the Future. The compromises are the layout and the fixed angle.
The X60 HE is the cheaper twin of the X60 Future, and the maker lists the same aluminum-alloy snap-fit frame and aluminum bottom case, 8000 Hz polling, hot-swap and Qian switches in a more compact 297.5 x 107.5 x 43.1 mm body at 840 g. It drops the glass light bar and the extra weight; the underside keeps the cut-out X design.
KeenGamer called it fully aluminum, dense and free of rattles, with a matte finish, and a step quieter than the X60 Future with no hollow ping; the keycaps are less frosted, so RGB is more intense but legend visibility can suffer at maximum brightness. The underside design leaves no room for flip-out feet, though the board has a slight built-in incline. DailyGamingTech scored it 8.4 out of 10 and praised the responsiveness and value, while noting the compact layout, basic web software and industrial look.
If you want the X60 family's 8 kHz polling and aluminum body for less, this is the one. The G60 is plastic and 1000 Hz.
