The $50 magnetic 60%

A compact budget 60% with magnetic switches and a plastic ABS case. HLPLANET found the switches smooth and the build good for the price, but noted unlubed switches and average keycap printing.

Hall effect Rapid Trigger 60%

Our take, based on research

A small and cheap way into Rapid Trigger. Expect plastic and a few rough edges.

Overview

The G60 is DrunkDeer's 60% budget board. The maker lists a 292.5 x 102.3 x 41.9 mm body at 530 g, an ABS bottom case, 1000 Hz polling, hot-swap, 18 backlight modes and a tray-mount shock-absorbing structure (the spec table says Hull Gasket Structure). It comes in black or white with shine-through PBT keycaps.

HLPLANET called it a pretty good budget Rapid Trigger board, finding the switches smooth even next to Wooting's, with actuation adjustable from 0.2 mm and single-key latency around 4 to 5 ms. It said an average player would struggle to tell it from the Wooting 60HE, and flagged the compromises: a plastic case, switches without lube and average keycap print quality.

It is the smallest and lightest board in the DrunkDeer group, and the one to pick for a tight desk. The G65 adds arrow keys, and the X60 line adds 8 kHz and an aluminum case.
