| Good for , different | Competitive players who want 8 kHz polling in a small, heavy board People who like transparent keycaps and a glass light bar Anyone who wants an aluminum body and a thocky sound from a magnetic board | Competitive players who want 8 kHz and an aluminum body on a budget Desks that need a compact 60% Buyers who prefer the X60 line without the glass light bar |
| Skip if , different | Buyers who want a plain look (see the X60 HE) Anyone who needs arrows or a function row Wireless users | Users who need a function row or full arrow keys People who want to adjust the angle Wireless users |
| Pros , different | Aluminum frame and bottom case at about 1.15 kg 8000 Hz polling and a maker-claimed 0.2 ms latency Hot-swap, with spare switches and a switch puller in the box (DailyGamingTech) Heavy dampening and a thocky sound (KeenGamer) Distinct design, with a glass light bar and a metal underside cutout | Aluminum frame and bottom case at 840 g, with no creaking (KeenGamer) 8000 Hz polling and a maker-claimed 0.2 ms latency Quieter than the X60 Future with no hollow ping (KeenGamer) Hot-swap magnetic switches Good value according to both reviewers |
| Cons , different | The look is not for everyone (DailyGamingTech) KeenGamer could not vouch for the durability of the glass and fiberglass parts 60% layout and wired only The web software is not as polished as Wooting's (DailyGamingTech) KeenGamer says the X60 HE has almost the same feature set for less | 60% layout with 64 keys, so the arrow cluster is cramped No flip-out feet, so the angle is fixed (KeenGamer) Legends can wash out under the brightest RGB presets (KeenGamer) The web driver is basic compared with Wooting (DailyGamingTech) Wired only |
| Research take , different | The showpiece 60%. Same performance family as the X60 HE; you pay for the glass light bar and the extra weight. | An aluminum 8 kHz 60% for less than the Future. The compromises are the layout and the fixed angle. |
