Qwertykeys' aluminum 75% kit with three mounting options and optional tri-mode

A 75% aluminum kit with Poron or silicone gasket and top-mount options, a hot-swap PCB in wired or tri-mode form, and aluminum or PP plates. alexotos (brand-supplied boards, affiliate links) praised its look and sound; the fixed layout, hidden screws and tune-needed stabilizers were its complaints.

Our take, based on research

A well-liked value kit with real sound options, according to the one review found, which was of brand-supplied boards and uses affiliate links. The fixed layout and hidden screws are the main compromises.

Overview

The Neo75 is Qwertykeys' 75% kit, sold as a pre-order in anodized colors. Qwertykeys lists a 317.4 by 133.8 mm footprint, a 17.6 mm front height, a 7° typing angle, hot-swap PCBs in wired or tri-mode versions (ANSI or ISO for tri-mode), aluminum or PP plates, a grooved Poron gasket system that avoids adhesive, silicone gasket and top-mount options, force-break pads and an acoustic chamber in the bottom case. Case-only weight is 1,459 g for tri-mode and 1,589 g for wired, and tri-mode builds ship with two 2,200 mAh batteries. Switches and keycaps are not included. alexotos, which received the boards from the brand and uses affiliate links, called it clean, minimal and well finished, and said it sounds excellent for the money. It found each mounting option really different, with silicone gaskets its favorite and Poron fussier to install, and a slightly bass-forward sound. Its complaints were the fixed hot-swap layout with no solder PCB and no 7U support, hidden screws that make it harder to disassemble, and clip-in stabilizers that need tuning. It also said the more expensive Neo75 Cu suits people who want more flexibility and easier modding. Qwertykeys sells it as a final-sale pre-order with a six-week estimate. Only one independent review was found. It suits builders who want an elegant value 75% kit with options in how it sounds.
