The Mineral 75%
A tri-mode aluminum 75% with a curved CNC side frame and PVD back weight, gasket mount, VIA and an 8,000 mAh battery. The Gem 01 is the plainer sibling.
A styled sibling of the M1 V5 VIA with no independent reviews yet. Choose it for the curved case and back weight, or the plainer Gem 01 if you do not need them.
Mineral 01 is a 75% in the Akko and MonsGeek Mineral line. MonsGeek lists a CNC aluminum case with an ergonomically curved side profile, gasket mount, a ball-catch rapid-disassembly case, an 8,000 mAh tri-mode battery, 5-pin hot-swap sockets and VIA with source code. Akko's series guide adds the PVD back weight and south-facing RGB. MonsGeek's page highlights FR4 as the plate that balances stiffness and sound and notes that the sound test was recorded in stock configuration.
Akko's series guide says the Mineral and Gem share the same mechanical base and performance. The Mineral adds the curved frame and the PVD weight, and Akko describes the Mineral as the "endurance and comfort" model, against the Gem as "elegance and radiance".
No independent review was found that could be opened, so sound and flex are the maker's claims only. It competes directly with the M1 V5 VIA: both are aluminum gasket 75% with VIA, tri-mode and an 8,000 mAh battery, and the Mineral adds the curved case and weight for styling.
