The Gem 75%
A tri-mode aluminum 75% from the Akko and MonsGeek Gem line. Gasket mount, ball-catch case and VIA, without the Mineral 01's curved frame and weight.
A simpler Mineral 01: same platform, less case styling. Treat it as a good-looking spec sheet rather than a reviewed board.
Gem 01 is a 75% CNC aluminum board with a gasket mount, ball-catch rapid-disassembly case, an 8,000 mAh tri-mode battery (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz and USB-C), 5-pin hot-swap sockets, south-facing RGB and VIA with source code, plus Cherry-profile double-shot PBT keycaps and a translucent acrylic corner that syncs with the RGB. MonsGeek's page highlights FR4 as the plate that balances hardness and sound.
Akko's own guide to the Mineral and Gem series says the two share the same mechanical foundation and performance, and differ in styling: the Mineral adds a curved CNC aluminum case and a PVD back weight, the Gem does not and positions itself as the more affordable, simpler design. The Gem 01 is the 75% (the Gem 02 is the 1800 compact).
No independent review of Gem 01 was found, so everything here comes from Akko and MonsGeek. Both list a CNC aluminum case.
