Our take, based on research

A cheap, plastic full-size that does the basics, with the base model fixed to its switches. Check the exact variant before buying.

Overview

MonsGeek's own spec table for the base MG108 lists a wired board with an ABS case, a tray mount, an iron plate, EVA plate foam, a 1.6 mm PCB, Akko V3 Cream linear or tactile switches, double-shot PBT keycaps in ASA profile, a three-position tilt stand (about 5, 7.5 and 11 degrees), 20+ lighting modes and Akko's Cloud driver. It measures 445.5 x 137.5 x 41.8 mm and weighs 1.15 kg. The spec table lists hot-swap as not applicable, and a retailer listing says outright that the MG108 is not hot-swappable, so the switches are soldered.

The wireless MG108B is a related board. Audiophile Heaven's review of the MG108B Bun Wonderland found Bluetooth, 2.4GHz and wired connections, a weight of 1.18 kg, a clacky, mid-pitched and rather plasticky sound with Akko Piano Pro switches that deepens when the board sits flat on the desk, and a software suite it called solid. It said only a little more damping would have helped. Buyer comments on the WhatGeek page for the base model praise the feel and sound but flag a hollow spacebar.

It is the budget full-size in this lineup, aimed at people who want a numpad without paying for an aluminum case.
