Our take, based on research

The fastest of the DrunkDeer 75% boards, with good reviewer feedback on latency and sound. Check the case and switch variant against the maker's listing.

Overview

The A75 Ultra is DrunkDeer's top 75%. The maker lists 8 kHz polling, a claimed 0.2 ms response delay, rapid trigger adjustable from 0.01 to 3.5 mm, a web driver, and a top-plus-gasket case it calls Omni-Suspension, with a toggle between a soft-bounce setting and a hard bottom-rear latch. Colors are Silver Black, Silver White, Ruby Red and Emerald Green. Its listed case is an aluminum-alloy and ABS hybrid, and the current listing names DrunkDeer's own Qian switch.

HLPLANET measured roughly 0.45 to 0.50 ms latency, better than the Wooting 60HE and just short of the Wooting 80HE, and liked the solid keycaps and sound. It also noted that the Ultra moves from Raesha to the KS-20 magnetic switch standard (Gateron Jade, TTC and others), and that the Antler web app's beta lacked Mod Tap and macros at launch while adding RT Match, which adapts Rapid Trigger settings to the user. Techxreviews described a mostly plastic case with a gritty texture, a multimedia dial, hot-swap sockets, no onboard profile memory and a spacebar that could use extra tuning.

Two details differ between the maker and the reviewers: both reviewers describe the versions they reviewed as having Gateron Jade Pro or TTC POM switches rather than Qian, and both describe the case as plastic, while the maker's listing calls it aluminum alloy plus ABS. If either matters, check the exact variant being sold. Compared with the A75 Pro, the Ultra swaps 1000 Hz for 8 kHz and moves to a gasket-style structure.

Pros & Cons

Strengths
  • 8 kHz polling, with about 0.45 to 0.5 ms measured latency (HLPLANET)
  • Accepts the common KS-20 magnetic switch standard, so more switch choices than the Raesha-only G-series
  • RT Match and RT Plus features in the Antler web app
  • Solid keycaps and a very good sound profile out of the box according to HLPLANET
  • Four colorways and a multimedia dial
What Could Be Better
  • Web app was missing Mod Tap and macros at launch (HLPLANET), and there is no onboard profile memory (Techxreviews)
  • Spacebar stabilizers could be better tuned (Techxreviews)
  • Sources disagree on case material, switch and keycap listings, so check the variant
  • Wired only
  • Weight is unclear: the maker lists 1.66 kg, while Techxreviews calls it lighter than the A75 Pro

Who Is This For?

Perfect For
  • Competitive players who want 8 kHz polling and near-Wooting-80HE latency (HLPLANET)
  • Buyers who want a ready-to-use board with a good out-of-box sound
  • People who want to try different KS-20 magnetic switches later
Maybe Not For
  • Anyone who wants onboard profile memory
  • Buyers who want an all-aluminum body, unless the maker's listing is confirmed
  • Wireless users, and people who just want the cheapest HE board
