Wireless full-size with a gasket mount and PC plate
A tri-mode 108-key with a gasket mount, PC plate and knob. GamesRadar praised the soft landings and sound; plate flex and smooth keycaps were the notes.
A well-reviewed wireless full-size with a soft, quiet feel. GamesRadar's notes on plate flex and smooth keycaps and the 2025 chatter reports are the caveats. If you want a wired board, the V6 is the cheaper and heavier option.
The V6 Max is the wireless full-size in Keychron's V line. Keychron's spec page lists an ABS plastic case with a gasket mount and PC plate, Gateron Jupiter hot-swap switches, double-shot OSA PBT keycaps, a knob, 2.4GHz and wired at 1000Hz (Bluetooth 5.1 at 90Hz), QMK with the Launcher web app, and a 4000 mAh battery rated up to 190 hours with the backlight off. Keychron lists 1110 g and 447.9 x 149 mm.
GamesRadar called it a typist's dream, with soft landings and a dampened interior, though it lacks the heft of Keychron's aluminum boards. It noted a good degree of flex in the top plate, found the smooth double-shot PBT keycaps slightly sticky and less textured than most PBT, and liked the smooth Jupiter Red linears. It also pointed out that the 2.4GHz receivers (both USB-A and USB-C types) sit in magnetic slots on the top right edge, and that the 1000Hz polling and connection stayed solid on 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. Launcher handles key bindings, macros, firmware updates and RGB in a browser.
Tom's Guide reviewed the wired V6 and recommended the V6 Max for anyone who wants wireless. As with the other V Max boards, TechPowerUp reported double-press and chatter complaints in July 2025, which Keychron attributed to warped plates and said it had corrected at the production level.
