Bluetooth 96% Q with a number pad and PC plate
A 2.2 kg Bluetooth 96% aluminum Q with number pad, PC plate, double gasket and a battery rated up to 300 hours. WIRED scored it 8 out of 10; pricey and too heavy to carry.
A well-reviewed Bluetooth 96% that WIRED rated 8 out of 10. Weight and tall keycaps are the trade-offs; look at the Q5 Max if you want 2.4 GHz too.
The Q5 Pro is the Bluetooth version of the 96% Q. Keychron lists a full CNC aluminum case, gasket mount, PC plate, K Pro Red, Brown or Banana switches, KSA double-shot PBT keycaps, Bluetooth for three devices, ANSI and ISO layouts, a knob, QMK with the Keychron Launcher, a battery rated up to 300 hours and 2,160 g.
WIRED reviewed the Q5 Pro and Q6 Pro together and scored them 8 out of 10, calling them some of the best bang-for-the-buck full-size keyboards: great build quality and typing feel, QMK/VIA customization and a layout it describes as 1800-style for the Q5 Pro. It said the gasket mount creates a bouncier feel. Its list of cons was price, weight too high to carry and tall high-profile keycaps that may not suit everyone.
There is no 2.4 GHz receiver, so for fast games a cable is the option; the Q5 Max adds the dongle.
