Wireless 60% magnetic Q that types heavy
A 1.4 kg aluminum 60% with Gateron magnetic Nebula switches, Rapid Trigger, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth. Audiophile Heaven found the stock switches heavy and loved the size.
A compact Hall effect board that its one reviewer liked for size and smoothness but found heavy to type on. Make sure a heavier key feel suits you before buying.
The Q4 HE is the 60% member of the wireless Hall effect Q line. Keychron lists Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula switches, Rapid Trigger, 0.2 to 3.8 mm actuation, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth with 1000 Hz polling, an aluminum gasket-mounted case with a knob listed in the layout, OSA double-shot PBT keycaps, a battery rated up to 100 hours and 1,415 g. Only the Gateron Double-Rail magnetic switch fits.
Audiophile Heaven reviewed it as an owner of several Keychron boards. It praised the smooth linear switches, immediate feedback, Rapid Trigger and adjustable actuation, and said a 60% layout felt right for both typing and gaming, with a comfortable hand position and no need for rubber feet to angle it. It also noted updated stabilizers with reinforced sidewalls, but found the stock switches the heaviest typing feel it had come across, tiring its fingers faster than the Q6 HE. Its cons listed the Double-Rail-only switch support and the 60% layout lacking delete and arrow keys.
Pick it if the size appeals and you are happy with a firm switch.
