Bluetooth 80% TKL Q with a PC plate and knob
A Bluetooth-only 80% aluminum Q3 with PC plate, double gasket, a knob and a 4000 mAh battery rated up to 300 hours. Keychron's page lists conflicting weights.
A Bluetooth TKL that depends heavily on Keychron's spec and a single owner's write-up of a sibling edition. Reasonable if you want the Q3 shape with Bluetooth, but reviews are thin and the Q3 Max is the better-documented option.
The Q3 Pro adds Bluetooth for up to three devices to the tenkeyless Q and swaps the steel plate for a polycarbonate one. Keychron lists K Pro Red, Brown or Banana switches, KSA double-shot PBT keycaps, a knob, ANSI and ISO layouts and a 4000 mAh battery rated up to 300 hours, with QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher. The product page quotes two different weights, 2,300 g and 1,762 g, so check the figure for the exact version you are buying.
No major-outlet review of the standard Q3 Pro turned up. The best independent report is a long-term owner write-up on the #! code blog of the Q3 Pro Special Edition, which adds four macro keys on the left side and weighs 2.3 kg assembled. That author found the typing experience excellent after a year of use, noted 1,000 Hz over USB-C but 90 Hz over Bluetooth, and could not get it to connect to VIA, using Keychron's Launcher app instead. Treat those as hints for the standard board rather than a full review.
If you want 2.4 GHz and a 1000 Hz wireless mode in the same tenkeyless shape, Keychron's Q3 Max is the nearest upgrade.
