65% layout Wired Hot-swap Keychron Launcher Hall effect

Our take, based on research

A specialist wired 65% for esports-style use. It rests on Keychron's specs and sibling reviews rather than its own, so treat the sound and feel notes as indicative.

Overview

The Q2 HE 8K takes the wired 8 kHz recipe of the Q1 HE 8K and puts it in a 65% case. Keychron lists 8000 Hz polling, 256 kHz single-key scanning, Rapid Trigger, actuation from 0.1 to 3.35 mm, Keychron Ultra-fast Lime magnetic switches, an aluminum gasket-mounted case, OSA double-shot PBT keycaps and 1,650 g. Hot-swap supports Keychron Lime and Gateron Jade magnetic switches. The spec line lists the layout without a knob, although the product copy mentions a knob design.

No major outlet appears to have reviewed this exact model. The closest sources are reviews of the Q1 HE 8K, which share the platform: Notebookcheck praised build and gaming features but found the price high and the sound high-pitched, GamesRadar liked the snappier feel but missed wireless, and GameRevolution listed switch limitation, weight and no wireless as the downsides.

A cable is mandatory, so it is a desk keyboard for players who want a small layout with Keychron's 8 kHz wired polling.
