Wireless 96% Alice Q with a right-hand numpad

A 2.4 kg 96% Alice-layout aluminum Q with 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and wired modes, a right-hand numpad and double gasket. Tom's Guide gave it an Editor's Choice; heavy and expensive.

Alice layout Tri-mode Hot-swap QMK/VIA Knob

Our take, based on research

A well-reviewed ergonomic full-size board. The weight and price are the downsides Tom's Guide flags.

Overview

The Q13 Max is the wireless 96% Alice Q with its numpad on the right. Keychron lists 2.4 GHz at 1000 Hz, Bluetooth and wired USB-C, Gateron Jupiter Red, Brown or Banana switches, a CNC aluminum case with gasket mount and PC plate, KSA double-shot PBT keycaps, a knob, a 4000 mAh battery, 2,405 g and 447 x 156 mm.

Tom's Guide covers it together with the southpaw Q14 Max and gave the pair an Editor's Choice award. The reviewer said the Alice layout relieves wrist strain while giving a superb typing experience, praised premium construction, comfort over long hours, QMK support and RGB lighting, and listed expense and heavy weight as downsides. Its spec table gives 5.3 lb for the Q13 Max and notes the double-gasket structure and silicone layers that reduce metallic pings.

Pick the Q13 Max when you want a conventional numpad position on an Alice board.
