K6, from Keychron's store
The original 65% K6 is a small, light plastic or aluminum-bezel board with ABS keycaps. The Keeblog found the stock keycaps thin and the plastic version hollow.
A cheap and compact starter. The aluminum bezel version is the one to prefer.
The K6 is Keychron's classic compact 65%. The page lists Bluetooth for up to three devices plus wired, Gateron G Pro or Keychron optical switches that are hot-swappable on the right version, ABS keycaps, tray mount, a 4000 mAh battery rated up to 240 hours, four-level RGB backlight, and two case options: ABS plastic at about 530 g or aluminum bezels at about 664 g.
The Keeblog reviewed the hot-swap plastic version and was blunt: the stock keycaps were thin and cheap-looking, the thin plastic case sounded hollow, and it recommended the aluminum frame instead. It still called it a cute, compact, lightweight starter board for experimenting with keycaps and switches, while rating the K2 higher for a small price step.
It is the budget way into the K-series compact family. The K6 Pro adds PBT keycaps, a steel plate and QMK/VIA, and the K6 HE moves to Hall-effect switches in an aluminum body.
