K4 HE, from Keychron's store
The K4 HE is a 96% Hall-effect keyboard in aluminum with Rapid Trigger, a short-cable software limit and a Windows Central verdict of a great keyboard with minor limits.
A strong Hall-effect 96%, praised by Windows Central.
The K4 HE brings Hall-effect switches to the 96% layout. Keychron lists 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth plus wired at 1000 Hz, Gateron Double-Rail magnetic Nebula switches or Keychron's Ultra-fast Lime magnetic switches, a hot-swappable board, an aluminum tray-mount case, shine-through Cherry-profile double-shot keycaps, a 4000 mAh battery rated up to 110 hours and about 1090 g.
Windows Central's review called it a great keyboard with stylish design, per-key RGB, a lovely typing experience and excellent acoustics, plus adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger, key priority and four-level macros. Its criticisms were being limited to select Hall-effect switches and the software working only while wired, with a very short cable.
Compared with the K4 Max, the HE trades the broad range of conventional switches for analog features and an aluminum body.
