Glorious's modular gasket-mount barebones with a knob and hot-swap PCB
A wired, modular barebones with a polymer case, aluminum plate, modular gaskets, hot-swap sockets and knob support. Reviews cover the HE and Boardsmith versions: decent typing, rattly stabilizers, and software that is not great.
A flexible modular base with an aluminum plate and hot-swap sockets, held back by software criticism. Evidence is for sibling versions, so check the exact configuration.
The GMMK 3 is Glorious's modular board, sold here as a barebones in 65%, 75% and 100% sizes. Glorious lists a polymer case, an aluminum switch plate, a modular gasket system, sound-dampening foam, hot-swap sockets, knob support, three onboard profiles and a 1,000 Hz maximum polling rate. It has no switches or keycaps included, only four MX sample switches. Glorious CORE handles lighting and key remapping, and the page says there is no QMK support. The 75% measures 338 by 152 by 44.5 mm. None of the reviews read here covers the barebones itself. They cover the Hall-effect and Boardsmith configurations, so they are best read as hints about the shared parts. Tom's Hardware found typing decent, but noted rattly keys and a lot of spacebar stabilizer rattle, and called Glorious Core not great. PCWorld, reviewing a GMMK 3 Pro HE, found the typing feel great on Lynx HE switches and software deeply lacking. Tom's Hardware also notes that the barebones and prebuilt boards come with aluminum switch plates, and that the Boardsmith offers polycarbonate, FR4 and brass. It suits hobbyists who want a modular gasket board they can reconfigure and who expect to tune stabilizers.
